Clique collects several types of information depending on the type of activity you are performing and which app or site you are using. This information helps us to provide the best products and services as you request. It additionally assists us to improve and personalize your experience.


We may collect the following Personal Information from or about you at different stages of your use of our Sites. Some of  this information is required for us to deliver the services for which you use the Sites. Use of our Sites is completely voluntary, and you can stop using them at any time.

As a result of your uploading of your receipt, we may collect, store and use information for reporting, analysis and marketing such as:

  • And any personal information contained on the uploaded receipts.


It is at your discretion whether you decide to upload a scan of any receipt and I is at your discretion whether you decide whether the receipt contains information you wish not to share or provide to Clique.


Clique’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.


When you sign-up or sign-in with a Social Media platform, such as Facebook Connect, you grant unrestricted permissions for Clique to access any and all elements of your social network profile that you have made public and/or available to be shared and allow Clique to use it in compliance with the terms of use of the social network and this Privacy Policy. 


Our Sites automatically collect and store information about you and your use of our Sites that does not necessarily personally identify you. This information includes:


  • User Submissions as defined in Clique’s Terms and Conditions.
  • Gender 
  • Date of Birth 
  • IP address 
  • Unique device ID 
  • App usage information, including but not limited to: 
  • Details about products and/or brands you have scanned, purchased, searched for or favorited 
  • Details about cash back or other bonus options you may have earned and redeemed.

Clique may utilize location services on your cellphone, tablet, laptop or computer to collect and use location data, including the real-time geographic location of your device obtained through various means such as cell phone tower, Wi-Fi, or other technologies or signals. This information may be used to provide you features and services you request via the Sites. These features and services may include advertisements, information, content and personalization. You may disable location services on your device at any time. This may result in certain services and features to perform poorly or not at all. 


Clique and or its Partners may communicate with you based on your location, communication settings and permissions. You may change these options in the Sites by going to your account settings. These communications methods may include push notifications via mobiles apps, email, text messaging, social networks and more. You have the right to opt-out of any or all communication methods with the exception of those communications which are strictly to support any transactions you request or facilitate via the Sites.


Clique may collect data that is publicly available such as that which is posted on social sites, including social media platforms. We may also collect information from third parties such as demographic data and other data that can enhance our existing understanding about you. We use this information to provide and improve features and services we make available for you to use. We may also use this information to prevent fraud and/or to verify your identity for your protection.


Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Cookies: Cookies are a method used to remember you and may be stored and or transferred to a user’s device to facilitate a personalized user-experience. Cookies are also used for Sites administration, authentication, fulfilling requests made to us, and for other purposes such as security and anonymized Sites analysis. Clique Sites may let third parties use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking methods. They may collect usage data about your use of the Sites over time and across different services. This information may be used to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity.

  • To keep you abreast of other Clique products and services.

Clique may share your information in the following ways:

  • With our Partners in order to fulfill features, services  or the cash back program.
  • To provide cashback or bonus options in our Program. 
  • Clique may share your Phone number and or email address with Partners if you are a recipient of cash back from that specific Partner.
  • With specific third-party companies who may perform services for Clique such as research, marketing, security or legal. In these instances, the information we share is still owned by Clique and these companies may not use this data for any other purpose than that which Clique directs them to do.
  • To comply with any valid legal process, governmental request, or applicable law, rule, or regulation.
  • To investigate, remedy, or enforce potential violations of our Terms of User or Privacy Policy 
  • To Detect and resolve any fraud or security concerns. 
  • With third parties as part of an acquisition or liquidation, merger, asset sale, financing, corporate divestiture, reorganization, or acquisition of all or some portion of our business to another company or if we undergo liquidation or bankruptcy proceedings, we may share your information in connection with such transaction or proceeding before and or after the transaction closes or the proceedings are completed.


If you want to stop sharing your personal information with any Partner, please stop using the Sites. You may delete your account at any time in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.


Information may be anonymized identified and/or aggregated in a way to remove the personally identifying components. Anonymize data whether independent or aggregated is not and will not be considered as Personal Information and may be used by us and shared with third parties for any legally permissible purposes. These third parties may also use and disclose the anonymized information for their own business purposes, including to understand market trends, consumer behaviors, investment research, and other insights and for any other legally permissible purposes.


Clique uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Which may set, write and read cookies on your device in order to collect information. Google Analytics may also receive information about you from apps you have downloaded that partner with Google. Google Analytics collects information such as how often you use our Sites. We use the information from Google to improve our Sites. If you voluntarily disclose personal identifiers (for example, your name, email address, or location) as part of User-Generated Content, the information can be seen and used by others. This may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or parties. We make no representations and undertake no obligations as to the security or use of the information you voluntarily include when submitting content. Clique is not responsible for anything you include in User-Generated Content or for removal of any User-Generated Content. If you include in your User-Generated Content any information relating to others, you represent that you have full permission and authority to do so.


If you leave any Clique Sites and go to another linked site (Third-Party”), Clique is not responsible for the content, actions or availability of the linked site. Visiting a Third-Party site is done at your own risk and Clique is not responsible for any result of you visiting that site. Clique is not responsible for the privacy policies of other organizations, such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter, or any other organization involved in providing Sites to you.


When you log into your account or email us at, you may request, access, and, in some cases, edit or delete the following information you have provided to us:

When you register with us, your data and account  are protected by a password of your choosing for your privacy and security. It is your obligation to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser and by logging out after you have finished accessing your account.


The Services are hosted and intended for users located within the United States. Our Services are not directed at or offered to residents outside the United States. In using the Services, you acknowledge this and recognize and agree that your Data will be transferred to the United States for storage and processing under the terms of this Privacy Policy.


Certain browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that allows you to tell websites that you prefer not to have your online activities tracked. Some of our Sites do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals received from Internet browsers.
